Students in Naples attend Collier County schools. The district serves about 42,000 students through 24 elementary schools, nine middle schools, and seven high schools as well as numerous private schools. The district also offers career education to about 6,000 students through the Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology. Higher education for children and adults as well is offered at Edison Junior College, Ave Maria University, International College and Florida Gulf Coast University.
