Sandlin Team Walks to End Alzheimer’s

Saturday, October 13th members of the Sandlin Team, Realtor Partners Larry and Robin Taylor, and, Marketing Manager Tracey Taylor, and Communications Manager, Rivka Mascoop showed their team spirit when they participated in a 3 mile walk in beautiful Old Naples to help raise awareness and support Alzheimer’s research.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s disease is the largest, underfunded public health threat facing our nation today, and it’s growing at an epidemic rate. Today, more than half of all Americans know someone with Alzheimer’s. There are 172,000 people living with Alzheimer’s disease in Florida alone. Soon, no one will be untouched. We face a defining moment in our journey to a world without Alzheimer’s disease. One in eight boomers will develop the disease, rapidly adding to the estimated 5.4 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s today. We must act now to change the course of this epidemic which is the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.
