· Movie in the Park & Summer Camp Expo Combined! On May 27th. The CampExpo starts at 7:30 pm (meet the camp directors and register) and the movie “Cats & Dogs” starts at 8:12 pm.

· School’s OutBeach Bash on 6/9 from 1—5 pm at SouthBeach. Afternoon includes games, music & beach fun! Spotlight on Aquatics CampThere will be five camps offered “in the water’ this summer!

Spotlight on Aquatics Camps:

· MICKEYS Sailing for ages 8—12 from 9 am—12 noon, at MarcoRiverMarina. Fee is $90.00 for residents and $108.00 for nonresidents. Contact the park for schedule.

· PADI Scuba diver Certification ages 10 and over. The program is sponsored through Marco Scuba Dive shop. The cost is $395.00 per person.

· Naples Kayaking Camp includes safety instruction and kayaking games for ages 10 – 16, from 10 am—2 pm @ Isle of Capri Fish House. Pre-registration required; $165.00 for resident and $198.00 for non resident.

· H20 Camp: Extreme Water Sports for ages 8—17 from 9 am— 12 noon Different class options offered from wakeboarding to water skiing. All classes are hosted at SouthBeach. Call for water sports offered and fees.

· Paddle Board Lessons for ages 8 and over from 9—10:30 am.

Join the latest craze, no experience required. The fees are $30 for residents and $36.00 for non residents. Call for schedule.

· Fun Volleyball Mixer on 5/31 from 6—9 pm. Come out to meet new friends, register and get in a good work-out.

· YMCA Summer Day Camp will run from 6/13—8/19 from 7 am—6 pm. Each week is a different theme, with trips and Fun Fridays. Different price packages available:

Week 1: Splashtacular

Week 2: Global Getaways

Week 3: Totally 80’s

Week 4: Alice in wonderland

Week 5: The No Theme

Week 6: Hawaiian Hullabaloo

Week 7: Robots and Inventions

Week 8: Mach 1

Week 9: Go Green

Week 10: Mystery Week

· Last Wednesday of this month is “Artwalk” at the Esplanade on 5/25 from 5—8 pm. Enjoy live music, great food, and visit with the working artist in their studios.

· Marco HistoricalMuseum featuring a program called “Movie Mania” on 6/7 @ 7pm with Rob Davis lecturing on films made in Florida such as Marco Historical Museum such as “wind Across the Everglades”, and “Distant Drums”.

· 38th Annual Eagle Open scheduled for 6/25 @ Island Country Club, a combined Rotary tournament beginning at 7:30 am for registration and continental breakfast. The cost is $100.00 per player and $400.00 per foursome. Aside from the breakfast the tournament includes green fees and cart, lunch and tournament awards. · Mark your Calendars for “Glory of the Grape” on 6/12 @ 6:00 pm at CJ’s on the Bay. Chef Laura has planned a wide array of heavy hors d’oeurves to compliment all the delicious wines to be sampled.

· Business Before Breakfast Meet Florida State Rep Kathleen Passidomo from District 76 on 6/8 from 8—9 am @ Bistro Soliel RSVP by 6/6

· Speed Networking on 5/25 from 4—5:30 pm at the MarcoIslandHiltonBeach Resort, facilitated by David Longfield-Smith. The cost is $5.00 admission. Event is limited.

· Lee Collier Business Women is hosting a “Women doing Lunch” in Naples at the Waterfront Grill located on 4300 gulf shore Blvd. From 11:30 am—1:00 pm. The cost is $16.00 for members and $20.00 for non members. RSVP by calling 985-0400.

· Humane Society of Naples announces “Kittenfest”. There are currently 216 cats under the care of their no-kill shelter! They are offering a 2 for 1 adoption special for all kittens. The shelter is open every day except Mondays from 11 am—5 pm and until 7 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

· Don’t forget to donate blood for NCH! Hollywood 20 is offering a free movie ticket with each successful donation. The dates have been set for the theater on May 28th— 30th from 11 am—6 pm. For further info call 436-5455.

· Memorial Service to honor those that have served and lost their lives in battle or continue to fight for independence on 5/30 at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery @ 10 : 00am. Refreshments will be served immediately following the service or info call 283-0540.
